About Russell
Born in Eldorado and raised in Magnolia, Russell comes from a solid Arkansas heritage where he has lived over 20 years. Russell is a small business owner, full-time college student, performer, teacher, worship leader, and entrepreneur.
As a honor graduate from Magnolia High School, Russell continues his education by seeking a biology degree at Southern Arkansas University with emphasis in pre-medical studies. At Southern Arkansas University he also studies music.
From Carnegie Hall in New York City to the people of the Slovene Baptist Church in Slovenia in Europe, Russell has inspired audiences by performing around the world with his talents.
In 2010, Russell launched his teaching studio where he teaches piano, voice and trumpet. He taught for two years at Kathy's Dance and Arts Studio in Magnolia before launching his own studio in 2012. The studio is now located inside of his office at Immanuel Baptist Church.
Russell currently serves at Immanuel Baptist Church in Magnolia, AR as the Worhsip/Music Director. He began serving there in April 2012.
Russell was inspired to cultivate his musical talents by his Grandfather, the late Dr. Horace Neal Beene, a Dentist from Magnolia, AR. Dr. Beene had a heart for God, music and people and that was evident in his many years of accompanying choirs, quartets and solo artists in many venues of south Arkansas. Russell has followed in his footsteps by inspiring audiences in the same fashion.
Russell resides in Magnolia with his parents; Dr. Emmalee Beene-Gregory and Mr. David Gregory. Russell also has one sister who is a student at Magnolia Public Schools; Samantha.
